Tis the season, lovelies... The winter weather has hit, and is here to stay. It's becoming a winter wonderland. Well, as much of a winter wonderland that Texas will allow. It is already unusually cold for this time of year. With the holidays swiftly approaching, I wanted to start my first winter lookbook for the year! Go ahead and scroll through the looks, and become inspired to begin your winter wardrobe.
It's all about layering... Plus, vests are a hot item this season. I bought the striped tee at my local Maurice's, and found the vest in their clearance section. I tried them on together, and knew just how I would style these pieces. I wore my favorite jeggings and tall brown boots, both from Torrid. This look needed an accent, so I added the cream colored beanie, boot socks, and a beaded cross necklace. I completely adore this look for this chilly weather. It's perfect for a night around the bonfire.
Chambray is perfect for layering during the winter. It is a piece of clothing that is stylish any season. I purchased this chambray shirt a few months ago at Maurice's. I love how much attention to detail is put on this shirt with the beautiful crochet and delicate buttons. I paired this with an older waterfall cardigan that I had in my closet. I wanted contrast, so I wore my black lean jeans from Torrid. To add the finishing touch, I added a turquoise pendant necklace.
I feel lumberjack chic in this look! I was browsing at Target one day, which is impossible because I always end up buying too many things. I found this adorable plaid button-up, and this awesome denim jacket. Many of ya'll are familiar with this jacket because I have paired it with different looks recently. I wanted this look to be denim on denim, so I paired it with the same favorite jeggings from the first look. Also, to complete this look I added my gold boyfriend watch, and hiking wedges.
