We have less than a week until it is finally Christmas. The weather in East Texas has been typical, which means unpredictable. It will be in the upper 70's one day, and turn around to freezing the next morning. Anyway, enough about this weather and onto more pressing matters. I want everyone to forget the stress that may come with this holiday over money and presents Let's remember the real meaning of this holiday, and celebrate with our loved ones as we make lasting memories. I want to wish everyone the Merriest Christmas, and all my best wishes for the new year. This lookbook includes all my Holiday Outifts for the Christmas parties, my birthday, and the Christmas Spectacular program for my daughter's dance team.
Christmas Spectacular
Many of ya'll know that I am a dance mom. My daughter is on the drill team at her high school, and I couldn't be any prouder of this remarkable young lady. The director has shirts made every year for the girls and parents to purchase for Christmas Spectacular. I volunteered to help seat elementary schools coming to see the performance on a field trip. We had 3 shows, and around 3,000 students altogether. Then the performance at night, which is the one I sat and enjoyed watching my daughter dance across the stage. For the look: I wore my Christmas Spectacular shirt, my favorite jeggings from Torrid, and my most comfortable tennis shoes. This look is comfortable, laid-back, and perfect for on-the-go days.
My Birthday
For those of you that don't know, my birthday is in December. It fell on the day of my daughter's program, so we celebrated the next day. They took me to dinner to my favorite restaurant, Auntie Pasta's. My daughter and I wanted to look similar, so we planned our outfits together. She wore a long sleeve t-shirt dress with a blanket scarf and brown riding boots. I wore a green sweater dress with a blanket scarf, boot socks, and brown riding boots. We have had both of these outfits for a while, so I won't be posting links.
Office Christmas Party
I am now working part-time at a furniture store to supplement my blog. I have been a stay-at-home mom for a while now, but it's nice to get out of the house a few days a week. My wonderful Momma is my boss, and this is the best job that I have ever had. We work well together because we are so much alike. I wanted to have festive attire for the party! I wore a Christmas.sweater that I picked up at Target for 40% off. I paired this with a gray sweater skirt from Lovesick, and thigh-high boots from Torrid.
Christmas Eve (Family Get-Together)
We are having our family get-together on Christmas Eve this year because it falls on a Saturday. I wanted to be festive and comfortable because I will probably eat too much food on this day. I found this suoer cute outfit at Perfectly Priscilla Boutique earlier this season. They have box sets, called styleboxes for outfits, and that is how I bought this outfit. The scarf, shirt, and leggings for only $60, which is a steal. I am ready for the party, so we can enjoy each other's company, eat amazing food, and celebrate this wonderful holiday.
Christmas Day
My daughter and I bought these adorable sleepshirts at Victoria's Secret for the Christmas Party for her dance team. We loved these so much that we are wearing them for Christmas too. Our Christmas is a nice relaxing day. We open our presents and eat breakfast. Then we spend time together just watching Christmas movies. My parents usually come over in the afternoon to exchange gifts and visit. This is a lazy day where we eat pizza, watch movies, and do as little as humanly possible, and I love it!
Merry Christmas! I hope ya'll enjoyed my holiday looks! Leave a comment down below. Also, follow my journey on social media.
